The limestone deposit of Sawai-Heera & Sona mines of Basni lease are considered to be the best available deposit in the entire Sojat-Bilara-Nagaur belt. The deposit contains very low silica, high calcium and moderate decrepitation index. All the grades of limestone is produced from these mines & supplied to steel plant, chemical plant, white & gray cement plant & local kilns of limestone.
